Monique was “late to the game” as Lise’s second child — a bright ray of light who brought renewed joy not only to her mother and big brother Luc, but to all of us fortunate enough to know and love her. From the very beginning, Monique carried a warmth, positivity, and happiness that seemed to radiate naturally from her. Joy simply filters through her; she cannot help herself. She perfectly embodies the expression “easy-going and happy-go-lucky,” and she is an absolute pleasure to be around.

At the same time, there is something deeply grounding and calming about Monique, qualities so clearly rooted in her mother’s influence. Lise’s nurturing, caring, and devoted nature lives on beautifully in her daughter, and nowhere is that more evident than in the way Monique raises her own little angel, Kai alongside her partner Carlos. The loving and doting qualities that defined Lise could not help but be passed on to her children. One can only imagine how proud and glowing Lise would be seeing the remarkable people her children have become — truly her greatest purpose and legacy in this world.
